काठमाडौँ : सरकारले पछिल्लो विपद्बाट प्रभावित पालिकाहरूलाई विपद् संकटग्रस्त क्षेत्र घोषणा गरेको छ।
मन्त्रिपरिषद्को आजको बैठकले बाढीपहिरोबाट प्रभावित १४ जिल्लाका ४३ वटा पालिका संकटग्रस्त क्षेत्र घोषणा गर्ने निर्णय गरेको सरकारका प्रवक्ता सञ्चार तथा सूचना प्रविधिमन्त्री पृथ्वीसुब्बा गुरुङले जानकारी दिए।
राहत तथा पुनर्स्थापनाका कामलाई तीव्रता दिन उक्त घोषणा गरिएको उनले बताए।
असोज १० देखि १२ गतेसम्मको भारी वर्षाका कारण आएको बाढीपहिरोले २४२ जनाको मृत्यु भइसकेको छ।
